Anyone can call themselves a gemologist—and many merchants do. These jewelry dealers do not have the requisite training in gemology nor an understanding of ethics, as is required of a Registered Jeweler. This title requires rigorous gemological study and adherence to high ethics, and must be renewed annually based on continuing education and ethical business practices. Our jeweler and owner, George Fox, is a Registered Jeweler.

Just like no two snowflakes are alike, no two diamonds are alike, and that makes them extremely difficult to evaluate and price. So the most important decision you make when purchasing a diamond is choosing an educated professional that you trust.

At Fox Fine Jewelry, every diamond is personally selected by our owner and Registered Jeweler, George Fox. Only the brilliant ones make it into our cases. We reject many diamonds because they are poorly cut, off color or included. Those diamonds we leave for other merchants!
